Paper tips, cellulose or activated carbon filters?
Cardboard filters are simple filter tips that are primarily used to prevent tobacco crumbs in the mouth. The paper is rolled up and inserted into the cigarette before the tobacco. Each roll-your-own cigarette maker can decide what width and length the filter should be.
Jilter and roll filters reduce the absorption of pollutants and condensate that is created during the combustion process. Jilters are combined with paper filters, while roll filters contain a cooling system in addition to the filter material. They are also hardly thicker than a normal paper tip.
Activated carbon filters can absorb large amounts of harmful condensate thanks to the huge surface area of the activated carbon they contain. This means that significantly fewer pollutants reach the respiratory tract and the smoke tastes cool and gentle. The effect is not affected. A distinction is made between ExtraSlim activated carbon filters, i.e. very thin activated carbon filters , and medium and thicker activated carbon filters , which are also suitable for pipes. The activated carbon used is dust-free, washed and vegan.
