Super Skunk Automatic Growth Patterns

Super Skunk Automatic cannabis seeds produce potent, fast-flowering plants. They are 80% indica. That means they are compact. Furthermore, they are self-flowering, which is ideal for barely experienced growers or those with little resources, ambition or time. The plants bloom after a predetermined period of time: approximately 3 to 5 weeks after the seedlings are visible.

The appearance of the flowers is influenced not only by the amount of daylight to which the plant is exposed. However, plants benefit from an extended light cycle (14 to 18 hours per day) to increase strength and yield. The flowering phase typically lasts seven to nine weeks and the plants stop growing vegetatively, even if the photoperiod is unpredictable.

Typically, the Super Skunk is grown indoors under lights. However, this autoflowering version of Super Skunk also thrives outdoors in temperate climates. When the summer is cooler, the flowering time can be adjusted to the longest days of the season as the plants flower on their own. Then the buds and resin can develop in the sun. There’s no need to wait for the cooler, wetter fall months.

The autoflowering Super Skunk plants are relatively compact. This means that methods such as topping and supercropping are not suitable. Most growers use autoflowering strains to avoid as much care and intervention as possible. Those with more experience and curiosity can experiment with Sea of ​​Green (SOG), Screen of Green (SCROG) and lollipopping. These procedures all work well with the specific growth pattern.


The buds are dense, well proportioned and light green. They feature a thick coating of trichomes and large calyxes. Super Skunk Auto is not the highest yielding strain, but with a little extra effort it will produce good harvests. More space and longer lighting during flowering maximize yield. In order to avoid any misunderstandings: the buds of this plant that are ready for harvest are satisfactory and by no means small.

Effect, taste and smell of the Super Skunk Automatic

The smell of Super Skunk Automatic is often surprising. Unlike other varieties in this family, the aroma is not dominant and has a sweet citrus note. The base notes are warm and spicy like other Skunk cannabis strains, showing the plant's indica heritage.

The aroma becomes more pronounced as flowering begins, but is not as dominant as the regular and feminized variants of Super Skunk. Their smell reached its peak in the last week. After curing, the citrus smell of the buds decreases. However, the aroma is immediately noticeable when consumed.

The effect of Super Skunk Automatic is good for recreational and medicinal purposes. The overall feeling is relaxing (thanks to the 80% indica), although the buds are also stimulating due to the sativa element.
