It is an autoflowering strain, making it an obvious choice for beginners. Shiva Skunk Auto is more resilient than the average cannabis plant. This means it can be grown outdoors in most climates; even in places with cooler, wetter summers and indoors.
The fact that it flowers naturally also means that it can be grown in locations with unusual photoperiods. This includes places like the equator (where only sativas would normally thrive) and the far north, in countries with long midsummer days.

Shiva Skunk Automatic has a relatively short flowering time. Flowering begins indoors and outdoors when plants develop their 5th to 8th set of fully formed leaves. This usually occurs after six to eight weeks of vegetative growth.
