The alpha-linolenic acid contained in hemp seeds helps maintain normal cholesterol levels. Note that the positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g of alpha-linolenic acid. Two tablespoons of peeled hemp seeds (25 g) will cover this recommended daily intake.
Magnesium reduces fatigue, supports energy metabolism and contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system. The magnesium contained in hemp seeds ensures the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
*What are superfoods?
These are foods that, due to their natural composition, contain significantly more nutrients, active ingredients and vital substances than normal foods. The term is sometimes misused for advertising purposes, although industrial products with this name contain few ingredients. Superfoods such as hemp seeds are a wholesome and holistic food and are natural or genuinely organic. In the case of our hemp seeds, it is also sustainable because they are grown and processed in Austria, so short distances are required to obtain them. Of course, a superfood can only be one if it is on the menu regularly, not just once.

Notice
The shelled hemp seeds may contain grains that contain gluten due to the harvest. Hemp seeds are naturally gluten-free, but individual grain plants in the field may become contaminated during the harvest. An excessive amount (more than 1-2 tablespoons per day) can lead to diarrhea.
