 CBN (cannabinol) is rarer and less well-known, but extremely effective. As a phytocannabinoid, it is extracted from the hemp plant in the same way as CBD and can act via the receptors of our body's endocannabinoid system. CBD binds to various receptors in the body, including the cannabinoid receptor type 1 (CB1) and type 2 (CB2), while CBN primarily binds to the CB2 receptor.
 Cannabinol (CBN) is only found in small amounts in the young, green hemp plant. CBN is an oxidation product of cannabinoids and can only be obtained in larger amounts from mature or dried hemp that has been exposed to oxygen and light for a longer period of time.
